Can women ever have enough clothes and accessories?
When ever women get together to discuss fashion they always lament their lack of clothes, even though their closets and drawers are over-stuffed and unable to close properly. Every day they rummage through for hours looking for what to wear and come up with nothing and then call a friend or relative to help 'dress me'. They run to their favourite boutiques and spend tons of cash and feel satisfied that 'oh, finally i have what to wear for almost all occasions'. And then a week later same thing happens 'I don't have clothes!!!' To make matters worse, fashion trend setters are constantly spotting new trends and we are always struggling to catch up.
Mind you women dress to impress each other these days, God forbid your friend looks better than you! And so the dance continues and i keep asking myself 'why are we wired like this? When will we ever have enough? Is it possible to ever have enough ? I don't think so but hey, you might beg to differ!! Comments???
Hehehe guilty as charged! *covers face* Sadly we tend to translate not knowing what to wear (cos we have too much) to not having what to wear. Looking good is good and big business cos women, well we just like what we like :D. Moderation is key though as with everything else in life.
